Recommended Exposure Limits (REL)

Recommended Exposure Limits (REL) is an occupational limit that has been recommended by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health as being protective of worker safety and health over a working lifetime. It is frequently expressed as a Time-Weighted Average (TWA) exposure for up to ten (10) hours a day during a forty (40) hour work week.
